Systematic reviews (SRs) are a great way to answer research questions. But they take a long time and are a lot of work. Fortunately, recent innovations can help with the conduct of SRs. One of these innovations is the creation of systematic review automation tools. Automation tools can be used to improve the speed of conducting SRs, without impacting their quality. Many systematic review automation tools have been developed by the Automation Team at the Institute for Evidence-Based Healthcare (IEBH) at Bond University. This online workshop will introduce participants to the Systematic Review Accelerator (SRA), the suite of automation tools built at the IEBH.
To demonstrate how automation tools, available in the SRA, can be used to improve the speed of conducting SRs.
The workshop will provide an overview and live demonstration of the automation tools developed at the IEBH. There will also be multiple opportunities for participant questions, and feedback.
The SRA tools covered include:
1. The Methods Wizard
2. The Word Frequency Analyser
3. The SearchRefinery
4. The Polyglot Search Translator
5. The Deduplicator
6. The Screenatron
7. The Disputatron
8. RevMan Replicant
All tools are freely available via the SRA website: https://sr-accelerator.com/#/
You will gain knowledge of the automation tools available via the SRA. You will also gain knowledge of where the tools fit into the SR workflow so you can use them most efficiently.
