For medical, nursing, or allied health students and Master’s candidates who are interested in short-term research experiences: Our gerontology and geriatrics team offers volunteer placements to be coached on applied research across one or more of several projects. You can be involved in conducting some of the following:
- screening of titles and abstracts for systematic reviews
- patient or clinician surveys or in-depth interviews
- data extraction and production of tables and graphs for a manuscript
Conditions for joining apply (i.e. minimum engagement duration, EBP/PICO familiarity).
Depending on your level of input into draft papers, your name can be listed as a co-author with the other investigators.
